This is the first race in the Triple Trail Challenge. A trail half marathon 100% of the course take place on prime, buffed single and double track trails in Round Valley, which sits at an altitude of approximately 6,500’. While athletes will find the trails foot-friendly, the rolling, high-desert terrain presents a few long and steady climbs followed by fast downhills. The Round Valley Rambler is a stout trail half and serves as a reality check for athletes preparing for the Triple Trail Challenge sister races, the Jupiter Peak Steeple Chase and the Mid Mountain Marathon.

If you are interested in participating in this unique summer challenge, you must register as a TTC participant - DO NOT register for each event indivdually.

The 3-Stages Include:

#1 - Round Valley Rambler – June 17, 2017

#2 - Jupiter Peak Steeplechase – July 29, 2017:
This is a Park City favorite presented by La Sportiva, bringing elite athletes as well as weekend warriors to Park City from all over the country. With an elevation profile that resembles an inverted “V” (for vertical!) A 16 mile loop from Park City Mountain Resort (7,000′) to the top of Jupiter Peak (10,000′) and back down.

#3 - Mid Mountain Marathon – August 19, 2017:
Presented by Salomon Running, the NEW RACE COURSE follows the Mid Mountain Trail, starting at Silver Lake/Deer Valley to its terminus, then winds down through the Utah Olympic Park trail system to finish at the bottom of the Nordic jumps at the Utah Olympic Park. The course, rolling across the Wasatch Back through aspen and evergreen forests at an average elevation of 8,200′, is largely shaded single-track. The Mid Mountain Marathon embodies the essence of mountain trail running with intermittent technical sections, a few sustained climbs and fast downhills. Voted best trial marathon in Utah, the Mid Mountain Marathon is a true trail runner’s maratho
